Stark Soil & Water seeks qualified individual to provide technical assistance and education to landowners, residents, government officials and staff, and the public in general concerning drainage issues and off road ditches; to inspect developed sites to ensure compliance with county storm water quality regulations and to fulfill contract obligations with MS4 communities; and to educate communities, residents, and students on stewarding soil, water, and other natural resources. Successful candidate will also work on community events, grant writing, and publications as necessary.
Required qualifications are an associate’s degree in conservation, natural resources, environmental science, or related field; six months of related work experience; and demonstrated ability to create and deliver effectively conservation material to all ages; or equivalent combination of education, experiences, and knowledge.
