The Stark Soil & Water Conservation District was organized in 1949 and covers all lands within Stark County. The District is a legal subdivision of the State of Ohio, and is assisted by the USDA/Natural Resources Conservation Service, Ohio Department of Natural Resources-Division of Soil & Water, and the Stark County Commissioners.

Stark SWCD office hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (the office is closed on all federal holidays and the Friday after Thanksgiving)
